Who we are
This free website check is made by Overdrive Software LLC, 4865 Antrim Drive, Sarasota, FL 34240. On this page, "we" means us. "You" means anyone who uses the check.
What we keep
- The website you type in, and the site you said yes to.
- Your email.
- If other people ask for the same site while its check is still going, we keep their emails too, so we can send them the report. We keep up to 5.
- A scrambled code made from your IP address. We never keep the IP address itself.
- If you said yes to tips by email.
- The tag in the link you came from, like the name of a post.
- If you asked for a full compliance review, and if you booked a call.
- Your report, and what our check found on your site.
What we look at on your site
When you type an address, we open its home page to show you a preview. When you start the check, we visit up to 5 pages of that site and read the text on them. We delete that text as soon as your report is done. Read how our check works.
Why we keep it
- To run the check and email you the report.
- So you can open your report again from the link.
- To stop the same site or email from running too many checks.
- So Grant, who runs Overdrive, can reach out about a full compliance review. If you said yes to tips, we may email you about once a month. You can tell us to stop at any time.
What Grant gets
When you ask for a check, Grant gets a short note: your site, your email, your score, the tag from your link, and if you said yes to tips. If you ask for a full compliance review, he gets a note about that too. He keeps these notes in his email and his customer list, which is stored with a service called Supabase.
What we never do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not share it for ads.
- We do not use tracking or ad cookies. That is why there is no cookie banner.
If you click "Book a call with our team" on your report, a booking calendar from Calendly opens on the page. Calendly only loads after that click. It gets the name and email you type into it, the time you pick and the link to your report, and it may set its own cookies. Calendly's own policy applies to it. We only learn that you booked, so Grant knows to expect your call.
A few services help us run the check. Cloudflare hosts it, stores the data and visits your site for the check. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a real person sent the form. Resend sends our emails. Supabase holds Grant's customer list. One more service helps us write the report. It gets the text from your site's public pages and what our check found. It never gets your email. These services only use your data to do that job for us. Resend, our email service, keeps its send records for a short time under its own policy.
The letters on our pages come from Google Fonts. Your browser gets the font files from Google, so Google sees your IP address when that happens. We do not send Google anything else.
Do Not Track
We do not track you across other sites, so a Do Not Track setting changes nothing here. Google Fonts and Cloudflare Turnstile load on our pages. They may see your IP address and browser details, and their own policies apply.
How long we keep it
We delete the text from your site as soon as your report is written. After 90 days, we delete your report, your email, the other emails and the page address. We keep a small note with no email in it: the site name, the date, the score, the link tag, the scrambled IP code and a few check details, like whether you asked for tips or a compliance review. That lets us stop repeat checks and count how many we ran. Grant's notes in his email and customer list stay until you ask. Ask, and he will delete them.
Your rights
If you live in California or the EU, you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to fix it, or ask us to delete it. Anyone else can ask too. Email us and we will reply within 30 days. We will never treat you worse for asking.
Not legal advice
This is an automated check of up to 5 pages. It is not legal advice. Automated scans find only some accessibility problems; a person needs to check the rest.
Kids
This check is for businesses. It is not for anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this page, we will put the new date at the top.
The law that applies
Florida law covers this page and the check.
